Ticket Office Policies

SEASON TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS

Ownership of Seat Locations

Boise State University ("the University") owns and controls all rights to the seat locations for all home games. Purchasers of season tickets receive a license, in the form of the ticket, to use the seat location for each of the designated home games. The University may revoke the license at any time, with or without cause, upon refunding the prorated portion of the actual purchase price. The license is granted on a game-to-game basis, and is subject to all rules, regulations and policies relating to athletic events as established by the University.

Acceptance of Terms/Conditions

Upon remitting any full or partial payment toward the purchase of your season ticket(s), or by accepting delivery of your tickets and season ticket holder benefits, you acknowledge responsibility for payment of the full price, and accept and agree to the terms and conditions as stated. Memberships and licenses are governed by Idaho law without regards to its conflict of laws principles. The exclusive venue for any disputes arising out of any membership or license shall be state district court in Ada County, Boise, Idaho. Any written notice should be mailed to: Boise State University, Department of Athletics, 1910 University Drive, Boise, Idaho 83725.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is limited at Albertsons Stadium and ExtraMile Arena. Those needing to make accessible seating requests must do so by contacting the Athletic Ticket Office as soon as possible prior to the day of the game. Accessible seating requests are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. To check on availability or to make arrangements, please call us at 208-426-4767, e-mail us at ticketoffice@boisestate.edu, or stop by the Athletic Ticket Office.

All Sales Final. No Refunds, Exchanges, or Cancellations

Payments must be timely made on or before the dates listed in any agreed upon payment plan. Delivery of tickets, either by mail or to will-call, shall be made only upon receipt of full payment. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on tickets ordered through the Athletic Ticket Office unless the University is unable to fill your order or revokes the license represented by your ticket(s). Refunds will not be issued due to a time or date change.

Assumption of Risk/Release of Liability

You (or the user of your ticket for any particular game) voluntarily assume all risk and danger of personal injury and all hazards arising from, or related in any way to, the game (including, but not limited to, injuries caused by players, fans, footballs, basketballs, or other objects) whether occurring prior to, during or after the game, howsoever caused and whether by negligence or otherwise. You (or the user of your ticket for any particular game) agree that neither the University, the Idaho State Board of Education, the State of Idaho, the Mountain West Conference or other applicable conference, the NCAA nor their respective affiliates, employees, agents or owners are liable for any injuries from such causes.

Change of Address/Other Notices

It is the responsibility of the season ticket holder of record to notify the University of any change of address to assure prompt delivery of tickets, notices, and other dated material from the University. Address changes must be made to the Athletic Ticket Office by the season ticket holder of record. To change your address, please call us at 208-426-4767, e-mail us at ticketoffice@boisestate.edu, or stop by the Athletic Ticket Office. Address changes for the mailing of season tickets must be received no later than one month before the season to ensure tickets will be delivered on time and to the correct address. If you think you may not be able to receive your tickets via mail, the University suggests requesting that your season tickets be held at will-call.

Children/Lap Seat

Children under the age of two (2) do not need a ticket to enter Albertsons Stadium or ExtraMile Arena for regular season events, but must sit on the lap of a ticketed patron. All patrons two (2) years and older need a ticket to enter Albertsons Stadium and ExtraMile Arena.

Conference Championship Game and Bowl Games

As a season ticket holder, you will have the ability to purchase tickets for all Conference Championship games played at home and any bowl games, as well as additional tickets based on the Priority Points System and availability. Such are at an additional cost to your season ticket payments and BAA contributions.

Distribution of Tickets

The tickets will be delivered to the season ticket holder of record or may be picked up at the Athletic Ticket Office by the season ticket holder of record if prior arrangements are made with the Athletic Ticket Office. The University reserves the right to approve or deny any request to distribute season tickets to a person other than the season ticket holder of record.

Expected Spectator Behavior

You (or the user of your ticket for any particular game) agree to act in an orderly manner that will not disrupt the event or enjoyment of others.

Lost, Destroyed, or Stolen Tickets

Lost, destroyed, or stolen tickets can be reprinted for no charge. If reprinted, the original ticket will no longer be valid. Only the season ticket holder of record may request a reprint. The photo ID of the season ticket holder of record is required at the time of the reprinted ticket being issued. The University reserves the right to refuse this service to anyone that is found abusing this policy.

Purchasing Season Tickets

The ability to purchase season tickets is not as a matter of right but is at the sole discretion of the University. An annual contribution to the non-profit corporation Bronco Athletic Association ("BAA") is required to purchase season tickets in certain sections of Albertsons Stadium or ExtraMile Arena. Such contributions are separate from the cost of season tickets and may be tax deductible. The contributions count toward a donor's giving total which is used in the Priority Points System. The Priority Points System is used to rank all current season ticket holders for allocation of away game tickets, additional home game tickets, post-season tickets, parking, and other benefits.

Renewal Privileges

The opportunity to renew a season ticket for the next season is not guaranteed and is revocable at any time at the sole discretion of The University. This renewal privilege may only be exercised by the season ticket holder of record upon payment in the amount and by the date established by the University, including BAA contributions if necessary. When deciding whether to revoke renewal privileges, the University will consider the season ticket holder's violation of rules, regulations, and policies of the University and the Idaho State Board of Education, including without limitation these terms and conditions, the terms and conditions on the back of the tickets, trademark violations, violations of alcohol policy, violations of abusive spectator behavior, violations of any other University policy, and/or ticket scalping rules then in effect.

Renewal Procedures

Season ticket renewal notices will be delivered to the season ticket holder of record for each account. Due to the time necessary to process relocation requests and print and distribute tickets, accounts which do not meet payment deadlines will be subject to cancellation. Once season ticket payments are received, they are nonrefundable.

Restrictions

Your ticket(s) may not be used for any form of commercial or trade purposes, including, but not limited to, advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes, without the express written consent of the University and/or Bronco Sports Properties. Please contact the Office of Trademark Licensing for further information via email at licensing@boisestate.edu.

Rights Reserved

The University reserves the right in its sole discretion to amend, update or modify policies and procedures relative to the season ticket program upon notice to the holder of record.

Season Ticket Holder of Record

The season ticket holder of record is the person or business that is assigned to the account. The season ticket holder of record must provide the University with the contact person for the account, particularly in the case of a business. Acceptance of payment(s) from a third party on behalf of a season ticket holder of record shall not confer any season ticket privileges, including without limitation, renewal privileges to the third party or cause the University to change the name of the season ticket holder on the account.

Season Ticket Transfers

Season tickets may only be transferred during the season and only from a parent to a child (or vice versa) or from a spouse to a spouse and must be submitted to the Athletic Ticket Office. To complete the appropriate ticket transfer paperwork, please call us at 208-426-4767, e-mail us at ticketoffice@boisestate.edu, or stop by the Athletic Ticket Office. In the case of divorce, the University requires a letter from the season ticket holder of record that is transferring all or a portion of their season tickets, agreeing to transfer the tickets to their spouse, or a copy of the divorce decree stating who gets to use the tickets. If a season ticket holder of record passes away, the season ticket(s) will be transferred to the living spouse, if any. No other attempt to transfer the seat locations or renewal privileges by sale, gift, transfer by will or trust, property settlement, transfer to creditors, or by any other means will be recognized. Any attempt to sell or otherwise transfer season ticket privileges to third parties other than children, parents, or spouses, as permitted herein, will not be recognized by the University and may result in the cancellation of the season ticket(s) and all privileges. Any request to distribute tickets to a person or entity other than the season ticket holder of record or their child, parent, or spouse, whether as a result of bankruptcy or otherwise, will entitle the University to revoke the license represented by the ticket(s), including any season ticket renewal privileges. If the University revokes a license, it will refund the prorated portion of the actual purchase price.

Seat Location Changes

Requests for season ticket seat relocation are processed during the renewal period only. Requests for relocation will be considered based upon the Priority Points System and once the University receives payment.

Ticket Upgrades

It is possible to upgrade a junior football season ticket to an adult ticket on a per-game basis. You will be charged the full price of the adult ticket for the specific seat, plus a $5 upgrade fee, but will be given a credit for the prorated price paid for the junior season ticket. For junior tickets that are part of a family plan, the credit will be commensurate with the value of the junior ticket in relation to the entire plan. The season ticket holder must bring the physical ticket into the Athletic Ticket Office on game day to perform the upgrade. Payment is due in full at the time of the upgrade. Upgrade costs vary on a per-game basis, please check www.BroncoSports.com/Tickets for individual home game ticket pricing.
